چکیده

Watermarking performance enhancement has always been a difficult task since the performance metrics of watermarking systems, i.e., fidelity, robustness, and payload size, inherently conflict with each other. Nowadays, most watermarking schemes hide payloads according to predefined rules or empirical perceptual models. Therefore, the performance of digital watermarking schemes can be determined only passively. In this study, a genetic algorithm-based framework for watermarking performance enhancement is proposed. Watermarked results having better robustness, guaranteed fidelity, and fixed payload size can be obtained. Existing blind-detection watermarking schemes can be improved significantly by incorporating the proposed framework. In addition, the proposed framework has many desirable advantages such as asymmetric embedding/detection overhead, easy integration with existing data-hiding schemes, and direct control over fidelity and robustness. 2008 Elsevier Inc. Fidelity-Controlled Robustness Enhancement of Blind Watermarking Schemes Using Evolutionary Computational Techniques

Designing optimal watermarking schemes is inherently an interesting and difficult problem since the three most important performance requirements of digital watermarking – fidelity, robustness and watermark capacity – are conflicting with each other. Nowadays, most watermarking schemes hide the watermark information in a heuristic manner, that is, watermarks are often embedded according to pred...

Proposing an effective approach for Network security and multimedia documents classically using encryption and watermarking

Local binary pattern (LBP) operators, which measure the local contrast within a pixel's neighborhood, successfully applied to texture analysis, visual inspection, and image retrieval. In this paper, we recommend a semi blind and informed watermarking approach. The watermark has been built from the original image using Weber Law. The approach aims is to present a high robustness and imperceptibi...

Blind Audio Watermarking schemes: A Literature Review

This paper presents the review of audio watermarking algorithms based on blind watermark detection techniques which present the watermarking scheme these algorithms use and results obtained. Most of the algorithms focused on improving robustness and imperceptibility, but newly proposed algorithms also focus on other parameters like embedding capacity and security.

Robust audio watermarking using frequency-selective spread spectrum

A novel audio watermarking scheme based on frequency-selective spread spectrum (FSSS) technique is presented. Unlike most of the existing spread spectrum (SS) watermarking schemes that use the entire audible frequency range for watermark embedding, the proposed scheme randomly selects subband(s) signal(s) of the host audio signal for watermark embedding. The proposed FSSS scheme provides a natu...

Analysis and Improving the Security of the Scalar Costa Scheme against Known Message Attack

Unintentional attacks on watermarking schemes lead to degrade the watermarking channel, while intentional attacks try to access the watermarking channel. Therefore, watermarking schemes should be robust and secure against unintentional and intentional attacks respectively. Usual security attack on watermarking schemes is the Known Message Attack (KMA). Most popular watermarking scheme with stru...
